So I just recorded my first video blog. I am currently adding a title and credit screen and should be uploading it this afternoon. That was the first time I have ever tried to record myself for posting something like this. Wow, that was an experience. I have a lot of learning to do about how to do this properly. I really hope you guys enjoy it and that I can eventually get myself better at doing them.
This time I just showed you a few of the basics that I carry around with me to every shoot I do. A couple of lenses and my camera that I use most of the time.
In case you can’t view the video, my list of basics:
Canon T1i body
Canon L-series 70-200 f/4
Canon 50mm f/1.8
Grip extender battery pack for AA batteries (extra 500 shots)
I will bring in other items for specific types of shoots, but these are my basics that are with me for every shoot I do.
Be on the lookout for the video upload soon, and I will be starting work on the first “how-to” video soon. I will be going over basic functions on DSLR cameras and how to use each effectively. This intro will be for anyone who is new to DSLR cameras, or who has had one for a while, but that hasn’t ventured off the auto settings yet. Before long we will have all of you shooting in manual!
