Today’s title comes from my continued efforts at downsizing myself, so why not just start there? Today marks the beginning of week 6 of couch to 5k. This means I only have 3 weeks left. Unbelievable. Honestly, when I started this I wasn’t sure how it would go. I hated running. I looked ahead at these last few weeks and wondered how in the world I’d ever get to the point where I was running 20+ minutes. Theres been many days along this journey where I have been tempted to just give up. Many days I didn’t feel like running or I ate badly. Those days I relied a lot on my friends and you all to keep me going. Even though I don’t converse with each of you every day, I still feel accountable. If I fail, I feel like I’ve let everyone down. This has been a huge motivation for me. So, thank you for being here. Thank you for reading, thank you for commenting, and thank you for keeping me accountable. Today I will push on and start week 6 knowing that I have just about one month to get ready for my first 5k on March 10. Current update: down 19lbs.
In the world of photography things are also going great. Today I have tentatively booked a wedding, booked a lifestyle shoot, and I’ve been talking with a new jewelry store in Charlotte about doing product photography. I’m so excited to see how the next few weeks play out. It definitely seems like everything is on an upswing and I hope to keep riding it as long as I can. 🙂
I also wanted to mention that I do travel. I know I have lots of friends and followers around the country (and the world in some cases) and I just wanted you all to know that I am available for travel anywhere! 🙂 I REALLY want to shoot a destination wedding this year, so if you or anyone you know is planning one this year, please reach out and I’ll do something super for you!
